In fact, there are few microorganisms capable of causing diseases. Many of them live on the skin, in the mouth, in the respiratory tract, in the intestine and in the genitals. Infectious diseases are usually caused by microorganisms that invade the body and multiply. Invasion is usually initiated by adherence to the cells of the affected person.
